The terms used here have the meaning assigned under the GDPR (AVG). This Privacy Statement qualifies as a data‑processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.

2.2 The Good Cloud may process personal data for or on Your behalf. For consumer use, The Good Cloud acts as controller. For business use, The Good Cloud acts as processor or sub‑processor.

3. Purposes of processing

3.1 Processing occurs only for the performance and duration of the Agreement.
3.2 The Good Cloud shall not process data for other purposes.
3.3 The data processed do not include special categories, BSN numbers, or criminal‑offence data.

4. Security

The Good Cloud takes extensive measures to prevent theft, loss, or misuse of data. All data connections to and from our servers are encrypted.

5. Processed personal data

The Good Cloud processes the following mandatory personal data to provide the Service:

For consumers:

– Email address: to communicate with You.
– Postal address: to correctly send invoices.

For businesses:

– Email address: to communicate with You.
– Postal address: to correctly send invoices.
– Telephone number.
– VAT number.

6. Data storage

6.1 You are in control of Your personal data at all times. You can change or delete Your information via Your dashboard.
6.2 The Good Cloud stores Your data for as long as You store it. Deleted data are permanently removed from Our servers.

7. Obligations of The Good Cloud

7.1 The Good Cloud complies with all obligations under the GDPR.
7.2 On request, We will inform You about the measures We have taken.
7.3 These obligations also apply to anyone processing data under our authority.
7.4 We will notify You if, in Our opinion, Your instructions violate privacy laws.
7.5 All personnel with access to data are bound by confidentiality.
7.6 The Good Cloud shall, at Your request and cost, assist in fulfilling data‑subject obligations.
7.7 At the end of the Agreement, The Good Cloud shall, upon request, securely destroy or return Your personal data.

8. Data transfer to third parties

8.1 The Good Cloud will never share data with third parties unless required by law.
8.2 All processing takes place within the European Union.
8.3 A current list of sub‑processors is maintained on our website and updated before any changes.

9. Your rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, objection, withdrawal of consent, restriction of processing, and data portability. Requests can be sent to support@thegoodcloud.nl. We will respond within one month.
